Windsor Light Music Theatre's Youth Performance Program is proud to present our 10th Annual Production, "Disney's Newsies Jr."

Newsies is a musical based on the real-life Newsboys Strike of 1899 in New York City. It tells the story of Jack Kelly, a teenage newsboy who leads a group of young workers in a strike against a powerful newspaper publisher named Joseph Pulitzer. With the help of a young reporter named Katherine Plumber, they fight for justice and the rights of working children. The show is a Broadway favourite, which is known for its energetic dancing, powerful music, and inspiring message about standing up for what’s right.
