Corporate SupportAs a registered Charitable Organization Windsor Light Music Theatre looks to Corporate Sponsors to help us offset the cost of producing high level of musical theatre which is community based and affordable for our patrons. Although we remain fiscally responsible and accountable the truth of the matter is producing the highest and consistent calibre of music theatre costs more then you would imagine. We do support ourselves through our ticket sales, membership dues, bingos and patron donations. However, these don't cover the entire cost of producing a show. To maintain the standard of production our community has come to expect we look to and find the highest quality production values around. 1/3 of our show budget is allocated to purchasing and acquiring the rights to perform our show. Unlike other musical theatre companies in the area, we produce two shows per year and have done so consistently for almost 60 years. 1/3 of our show budget is allocated to hiring and paying for professional musicians, and rental fees for the theatre. Unlike other theatre companies our musicians are the same people who play in professional symphonies. This is heard through the excellence of their performance. The Chrysler Theatre is a beautiful venue however; we still have to pay to use it. 1/3 of our show budget is allocated to the day to day production of the show we often rent the original or tour costumes of Broadway shows, we design and build our own sets, upkeep of lighting & sound equipment, marketing, and the day to day running of the organization. Base on the level of Sponsorship your company contributes you could receive many benefits including a tax receipt and help support a local charity.
